Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information: user identifier, username, email address, phone verification information and authentication records.
• Service information: token balance and ledger, puzzle settings, words and titles, generated worksheet files, generation history and recent puzzles.
• Purchase information: token package, amount, currency, order and payment status, Square identifiers and information needed to match the purchase to your account. We do not receive full payment-card details.
• Technical information: request times, app version, errors, security records and standard server information needed to operate and protect the service.

AI generation

When you request AI words, images or image edits, the relevant title, words, prompt and source image may be sent to OpenAI to produce the result. Do not include sensitive personal information in puzzle words or prompts. AI output can be inaccurate and should be checked before use or printing.

How information is used

We use information to create and save puzzles, authenticate users, manage token balances, process and reconcile payments, provide support, prevent misuse, troubleshoot faults and meet legal, accounting and platform obligations.

Providers and sharing

Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage; Railway hosts the application; Square processes token payments; and OpenAI processes AI generation requests. Information is shared only as needed for those services, security, legal requirements or a protected business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Storage, retention and security

Account and puzzle information is retained while your account is active and as reasonably needed for service, security, payment disputes and legal records. Recent puzzle and generated-file limits may cause older content to be removed. We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no online service is completely risk-free.

Your choices and account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from Settings inside Wordsearch Builder. This removes your login, profile, unused tokens, saved worksheet files and generation history, subject to records we must retain for security, fraud prevention, tax or law. Deletion cannot be undone and unused tokens are not refunded merely because an account is deleted.

Children and changes

Accounts and purchases must be managed by a person legally able to agree to these terms, or by a parent or guardian. We may update this policy as the service changes; the current version will remain at this address.
